The name is evocative and refers to far away worlds, fantasies of an era which inspires fascination and highlights the ideals of beauty and elegance. The Aonie line of jewellery by the Milanese sisters Paola and Consuelo Coti takes its name from the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, who represented the ideal of art in Greek mythology and inspired poets, philosophers and musicians.

 

Aonie uses semi-precious materials such as lava, onyx, white wood and coral to create jewellery characterized by refined details and sophisticated decorative elements. The experience of Paola, who has a degree in economics and some years training in the world of the "luxury market", is united with the creativity of her sister Consuelo, architect and jewellery designer in Paris, for a brand which joins fashion, tradition and femininity, and whose roots lie in the history of the art of jewellery interpreted with contemporary style.

It is no coincidence that the working of the semi-precious materials is entrusted to the hands of careful italian goldsmiths. Camneos, fishes made of bone that dance along necklace chains embellished by drops of turquoise, and good luck charms of little silver ants are just some of the details that render this collection a must.
